Should I?

To try and keep my mind off the current summer heat, I thought I'd post another cold-looking picture. This is another shot I took while skiing at the Whistler-Blackcomb ski resort a year and a half ago.  I took it on the backside of the Blackcomb Mountain in the "7th Heaven Zone".  It's beautiful skiing up there on that part of the mountain. However, Whistler is in a more temperate climate though, so overall the skiing there is a little interesting, too.  The tops of the mountains have great snow, but the closer you get to the bottom, the more wet it becomes.  You ski through the cloud deck and then sometimes into the rain if there's precipitation that day.  Of course as they say, "A bad day of skiing beats a good day at work" and there's definitely more good skiing at Whistler than bad.

I liked this shot because it has this guy on a snowboard who looks as though he's thinking, "Should I go straight down this steep part right in front of me or should I take the long way like everyone else?"  Not sure what he did, but since I had a bunch of camera gear with me, I took the long way. ;-)

Hope you like the shot and thanks for dropping by!  Oh and with this heat were having this summer, as my favorite band Van Halen might say, "Stay frosty!"
