Back in 2011, we flew out to Whistler for a ski trip. On the way back, I took a shot of our plane from our layover in Dallas.
You can view that shot here. Well, it caught the eye of Dione Dittmar, one of the owners of
Airways Brewing Co. in Seattle, WA. She liked it so much that she's now using it for a new beer they just produced called,
"Final Departure". It's a beer that gives a nod to the end of the world that will be taking place on December 20th of this year, according to the Mayan calendar anyway. The brewery has
posted a little bit about it on their blog and
Seattle Monthly mentions it in this month's issue. I was honored that they liked the photo so much that they wanted to use it. They added in the lightning bolts behind the plane to make it a little more sinister and de-branded it for licensing reasons. I think it looks pretty cool! To know I have a photo as a beer label is a dream come true!

O X O Companion (Looking Thru)Today's shot is a companion to
my previous post of an old-timey car that I shot while out at the Kingsbury Aerodrome. I tried to give it a similar treatment to the other. How do you like it?
