Lately I haven't been getting out too much to get any photos. This time of year is a bit difficult just because it's so darn hot! Not to mention the fact that I've been low on ideas. However, this past Monday, Eileen saw this squirrel hanging out in our maple tree in the backyard. So, I broke out the old camera to see if I could get a shot or two.
I was able to get pretty close to him. He just seemed to be relaxing and I'm afraid I may have disturbed him a bit. That's OK though, cause he might be the guy who's been raiding our bird feeder. Anyway, I was able to get a couple of shots from a couple of angles and this was probably the best of them. Right after this shot, he scurried on to the roof of the house and took off! Guess he was a little camera shy.
This was a shot that I adjusted a little bit in Adobe Camera Raw, cropped a little bit in Photoshop CS6, added some pro contrast and vignette from Nik Color Efex 4 and finally sharpened with Nik Sharpener.
Finally, I'm still trying to think of more content to put here, but it may be a while. However, in the next couple of months, I should have some really great stuff to post and I can't wait, so stay tuned!
