Austin Christmas Tree

Van Sutherland and I went out to get some shots of the Austin skyline last night.  The mission was to shoot the Zilker Tree in Zilker Park which is near the Trail of Lights.  Van suggested an excellent spot near Mopac and away we went.

From what I understand since I've never been, people like to stand underneath the tree, look straight up and spin around.  Apparently it's something fun to do, but sounds like a sure way to relieve ones stomach of any contents therein.  :-)
