Smithville Gazebo

Last night we met our good friends Doug, Tricia, Valerie and Theresa in Smithville.  We had dinner at the Backdoor Cafe.  Get the tenderloin!  It was awesome!  Nothing like good food, drink and friends and not necessarily in that order!  While there I took a little time and "shot up the town" with my X-T1 and came away with this HDR of the gazebo located in the Railroad Park at the end of Main Street.  The gazebo as you can see is all decorated with lights, has a nice tree in the middle and the rest of the park has lots of these gingerbread man decorations.  At one point, Smithville was famous for the world's largest gingerbread man and "Smitty" there on the left is a permanent representation of that famous cookie!
