Austin has constructed and opened a new portion of the hike and bike trail that now has a boardwalk, at least that's what I think it's called. It's not really a boardwalk because it has no boards in it, but yet it is a walkway that goes over Lady Bird Lake and "boardwalk" is a more romantic term for it, I guess. Anyway, a bunch of us local photographers have been getting out there lately to try and get the nice dusky skyline shot. I am one of those. As a matter of fact, I met up with Van Sutherland and his wife Chris last Saturday night to see what we could do. However, my attempt at the nice twilight shot with the great lights coming off the wonderful buildings did not pan out. So, as I was wandering around trying to find the best spot for the upcoming dusky shoot, I took a few shots from here and there along the boardwalk and this one worked out the best. I converted it to black and white because I like the shadows that the rails shown on the walkway. Kinda cool, but you may think differently.. What do you think?
