We're going to go back to an Alaska pic for this post. Near Girdwood there's a place where you can pan for gold called the Crow Creek Mine.
It's a neat little place with old buildings and homes from when it was a very active gold mine back in the late 1800s and early 1900s. It still produces gold today. The guide who was running the gift shop told us he and his Dad mined about 20oz of gold out of there last winter and they receive about $1300 an oz. Not too shabby!
On the property there was this old truck and I thought this kind of made a neat shot with the headlight and the license plate. Since it was an old truck and everything, I tried to give it an old look with Nik's Analog Efex plugin. Sometime you can get some nice effects out of that. I think this was Classic Camera Number 3 and then I did a little more tweaking in Photoshop.
