Road to the Church

Here's another shot from New Sweden, TX near the town of Manor.  I went out there about a year ago to shoot the church that you can see in the background there.  It has this huge steeple on it.  Really makes for some nice images from both near and far since it just stands out so much.  With this shot, I tried to add a little more foreground interest with the yellow strips in the road that leads to the church.

For shots like this, it really helps to get as low to the ground as possible.  It really makes for a nice vantage point and helps make the stripes on the road as well as the detail in the asphalt really stand out.
