This year has been a bumper crop for wildflowers in Central Texas.  This time of year the state flower which is the bluebonnet emerges along roadsides and pastures all over the place.  And this year, since we had quite a bit of rain this past winter, really brought out an unusually high number of them.  One of the spots that was great to shoot them was on the north side of Round Rock, TX on 35 and Westinghouse Road.  That's where you can find the sign and these great bluebonnets.  I got out there at dusk one night last week, but unfortunately it was overcast.  If it would've been partly sunny, wow!
