As usual, a couple days late and at least a dollar short, but here's my attempt at capturing the blood moon during the trifecta of the lunar eclipse, super moon and blood moon on Sept. 27th, 2015. It wasn't easy to do. The moon itself was pretty dark and it was hidden by clouds during the 1st half of the eclipse. If it was totally clear out while the moon was full, I might've been able to get a good focus and then capture the bloody moon later, but this isn't too terrible. Still, it was difficult to get it in focus. I got as close as I could, but maybe in 33 years, it will be a little better! :-)
