Our photo guide, Keith Price, took us out to Fallen Leaf Lake near Lake Tahoe during our little tour.  Normally access to Fallen Leaf Lake is closed from Nov - Apr, but Keith has connections and was able to get us in.  It's beautiful and there are a couple of famous homes at the lake...  The movie actress Sharon Stone has a home there and apparently she arrives by sea plane during her visits.  Also, the house from the movie "The Bodyguard" where Kevin Costner rescues a kid is there as well.  Those were kind of hard to see from the road we were on, but we saw the rooftops anyway! :-)
