It's almost vacation time for us Gearings! We are getting ready for a ski trip and I can't wait to go! So as I thought about what to post for a new picture, I went back to our Alaska vacation pics and found this shot. It is the obligatory photo of mountains with the wing of our plane. What says vacation more than that? OK, maybe a shot of us in Hawaiian shirts with that white stuff on our noses, but this is the next best thing, right?
I know the shot is a bit little cliche, but this shot has three big mountain peaks in the center. We saw these as we were heading into Seattle for our layover. I'm not sure what mountain peaks they are, maybe the three sisters in Oregon? I'm not really sure on that because we seem awfully low heading into Seattle to see these peaks that are in Oregon, but I could be wrong. If anyone knows, please comment below.
I just processed this shot mostly in Lightroom with no plugins and then I added a slight vignette in photoshop. If you roll over the image with your mouse, you will see the original raw image as compared to the final version when you roll your mouse off.
I hope enjoy the photo and thanks for dropping by. As always, click here to see the high-res version of the final image.
