We just got back from our trip to Lake Tahoe and we had the best time!  We stayed at this excellent vacation rental by owner and it had some incredible views!  We could see the lake and the casinos below which was just spectacular during sunrise and sunset!  I can't wait to process those, btw...  I took so many pics that I can't wait to get to them!

We also went on a photo tour with renowned wildlife and landscape photographer Keith Price who took us to this great location at Emerald Bay.  He knows his stuff and he really helped us get to some great spots to shoot from and he also took lots of photos of Eileen and I for our own keepsake!  Can't wait to see them!  Look him up if you go out there!

The area is just so photographic that there is a great photo to be had at every turn.  I must've taken almost 1500 photos!  Granted a lot were brackets, but still, Keith pointed out this spot and I tried to take advantage!  Can you imagine what it would be like if it was a sunrise or sunset?  I don't care too much because I love the aspect of this one.  This is one of my favorites and I didn't really have to do to much to it, so it's one of the first to make the blog.

All I did basically was give this shot the old Fujifilm Velvia film simulation in Photoshop and then a couple of other tweaks for sharpening and cloning out branches and spots in the sky.  To see the differences, roll your mouse over the image to see the original raw image straight from the camera and then roll of for the final processed image.
