I had to go to Dallas for business a couple of weeks ago and I asked Cliff Baise where would be a good place to get a nice skyline shot. He recommended Trinity Overlook Park and this is the view from there.
I had quite an adventure trying to get there because Apple Maps took me to some weird part of town that looked like it was behind a warehouse or something. So, I basically drove around until it got dark, but I eventually found this place. I stopped in a parking garage by a county jail and that wasn't promising... Attendants at a gas station didn't know where this was... After driving around like a madman through neighborhoods and abandoned parking lots, I finally found it. Not sure why Apple Maps didn't have it correct, but at least I made it!
I hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for dropping by. As always, click here to see the high-res version of the final image.
