Last Friday night was my first meetup with a lot of the HDR Mafia here in Austin for the first time in a long time.  We all met out at Pennybacker Bridge for some nice sunset shots and then off to Waterloo Ice House just up the road for a little beer.  It was great to catch up with Dave Wilson, Jim Nix, Andy "ATMTX", plus I got to meet another Austinite, John Rogers and of course, Mike "Theaterwiz" Criswell who flew all the way in from Ohio!  What an awesome time!  These guys are all great photographers and it was fun to shoot with them.  One member of the Mafia and another great photographer moved on to bigger and better things in retirement and that member is Van Sutherland.  Everyone asked about you, Van and you were missed!  Hopefully we'll meet up again!
