Brooklyn Bridge

I'm going really far back in the "Way-back Machine" for this shot, 1 year BGC - Before Good Camera - which is 2008 to be exact.  (I didn't get my first DSLR [Nikon D90] until about a year later.)

2008 was the last year the Yankees played at old Yankee stadium and Eileen and I as well as her folks, Paul and Barb wanted to see a game there. The day of the game we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and had pizza at Grimaldi's.  It was awesome!  What a fun trip!

I was also trying to figure out good compositions with my little compact point and shoot.  I liked this one a bit, but never published it.  Now with Lightroom, I tried to give it more of a gritty style and I kind of like how it turned out.

I hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for dropping by.  As always, click here to see the high-res version of the final image.
