Train Car BarWe stopped into the Taylor Station Bar in Taylor, TX during the first annual Stomp-N-Holler a couple of years back and the bar was made up like a train car. It was pretty cool. For those of you who have never been, Taylor has a big train yard there and it appears they are quite proud of it. I have also take some pics of trains there when I first started this little hobby of mine. You can see them in my Texas gallery here on the site. Hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for stopping by.
US Capitol BWI took this 10 years ago, but just recently reprocessed into black and white. I think it looks better than it did previously. Not trying to make any political statements or anything like that, especially with what is going on currently. I just thought it turned out nice and wanted to post it. Please don't troll. :-) Hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for stopping by.
Inside The Painted ChurchWhen we went to Hawaii a couple of years ago, we stayed near the St Benedict's Catholic Church, aka "The Painted Church". The priest who founded it thought that painting biblical parables inside the church was a great way of getting the message out to those who couldn't read. At least that's what I remember. One thing I didn't remember was the cat you can see in one of the pews. Just noticed it when processing this. (I posted one similar to this previously, but that was a panorama and had much more distortion in it. I think I like this one a tad better.) Hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for stopping by.
Catalina Golden BoyDuring these trying times, Eileen and I decided to quarantine ourselves onboard our ship, "Golden Boy II" in Avalon Bay at Santa Catalina Island off the coast of California and ready to depart at a moment's notice once the zombies make it there. We can still be reached via the normal channels. :-) Hope you enjoy the photo and thanks for stopping by.
